Guatemala

The summer of my freshman year of high school, I was one of three students selected to live with a host family in Guatemala. We learned Spanish and worked in several different jobs. We worked in the forest, chopping weeds and planting trees. We also worked in a hospital for people with cerebral palsy. It was such an incredible experience.
